If there is one film from the last ten years that can really be described as a modern classic, it is probably “Drive” by Nicolas Winding Refn. The incredibly stylish homage to filmmakers like Jean-Pierre Melville (“The Ice Cold Angel”) and Walter Hill (“Driver”) is absolutely iconic in every single minute. Every shot is like a blood-splattered painting – “Drive” is a rush for the senses.
“Drive” is now available on subscription on Amazon Prime Video and should urgently be seen by all those who have not yet gotten around to marveling at Ryan Gosling in the role of his life. This is what “Drive” is about
Actually, the job of the nameless driver (Ryan Gosling) is nerve-wracking enough: During the day he earns his money as a stunt driver in Hollywood – and he is the best in his field. As if that weren’t enough, he’s out and about as a getaway driver at night. His manager Shannon (Bryan Cranston) places him with wealthy clients, for whom he should bring the booty safely to the finish without asking questions.
When he meets his neighbor Irene (Carey Mulligan) one day, he slowly falls in love with the single mother. Her husband Standard (Oscar Isaac), just out of jail, suggests the driver a job, which Irene takes to get closer to Irene. However, the coup goes completely wrong and together with Irene the driver has to fight for his life …
An erotic thriller that rivals Netflix
After Netflix recently served the erotic segment with “365 days” and “Sex / Life” extremely successfully, Amazon is now following suit with an original and is delivering an erotic thriller called “The Voyeurs”, which is available from today on Prime Video is ready. It is a mixture of “Fifty Shades of Gray” and “The window to the courtyard”. So that sounds both sexy and exciting.

Pippa (Sydney Sweeney) and Thomas (Justice Smith) are finally moving into their dream apartment in the middle of downtown Montreal. A few days after moving in, they notice that they can look directly into the apartment across the street and watch the couple Seb (Ben Hardy) and Margot (Natasha Liu Bordizzo) who live there having sex. At the beginning Pippa and Thomas make fun of secretly watching the erotic goings on.
