Alexander Bellin becomes director of digital/online business and marketing

The shoe retailer Deichmann SE wants to merge the previously separate areas of digital/online business and marketing into one common area in the future. In order to also incorporate this structural development into the organizational and management structure of the company management, Alexander Bellin will strengthen this body at Deichmann from February 1, 2022 as Managing Director responsible for the areas of digital/online business and marketing. The 33-year-old then reports directly to Heinrich Deichmann, the chairman of the administrative board and the managing directors.

At “About You”, Alexander Bellin, together with the three board members in his function as Chief Revenue Officer, has been instrumental in driving the rapid development of the German fashion e-commerce start-up based in Hamburg since the company was founded. Sebastian Hasebrink, previously responsible for the digital area and in this function a member of the management board, will leave the company at the end of March after a two-month transition period.

“Apart from the arrival of Sabine Zantis as CMO and Sven-Severin Canisius as CIO, Alexander Bellin is already the third well-known management addition at Deichmann in recent months.
