Ming-Chi Kuo, an analyst at TF International Securities, who is known for his accurate predictions about Apple’s new products, has expanded on his original prophecy about changes in the 2021 MacBook Pro.
In a fresh note from Min-Chi Kuo approvesthat the 2021 MacBook Pro will regain the HDMI and SD card reader that Apple ditched a couple of years ago in favor of USB Type-C (Thunderbolt 3). According to Kuo, Taiwan-based Genesys Logic will be the exclusive supplier of SD card readers for the 2021 MacBook Pro. The analyst is also convinced that the new MacBook Pro will be released in the second half of the year.

Previously, Min-Chi Kuo claimed that the 2021 MacBook Pro will come in two sizes with a screen diagonal of 14 and 16 inches, receive a major redesign, mini-LED backlit displays and a magnetic MagSafe charging port.
