Metzervisse. African design goes around the world thanks to Djilène Créations

An industrial shed, somewhere between Thionville and Metz. Seen from the outside, the site is distressingly banal: reinforced sheet metal siding; colors tending towards dark grey. Needy Lorraine, in short. And then there’s the hidden side which, once through the door, sends a load of joy to your face in three seconds. Welcome to the world of Djilène Créations, a small business importing designer furniture made by Senegalese craftsmen and sold… all over the world!

There are armchairs with generous and sometimes extravagant shapes, tables…
