Metroid Dread presents its gameplay

Samus’ big comeback is scheduled for 8 next october. Until then, Nintendo is making our mouths water with a long trailer presenting the game.

Samus’ story continues after the events of Metroid Fusion as she travels to the planet ZDR to investigate a mysterious transmission sent to the Galactic Federation. This remote planet is teeming with fearsome life forms and mechanical dangers. Samus is now more agile and powerful than ever, but will it be matched to the threats that haunt the depths of ZDR?

This is the question Nintendo asks us, and which we will have to answer in less than a month. The title, which is in line with Metroid, Super Metroid or Metroid Fusion, should satisfy players who are still waiting for news of the development of Metroid Prime 4, announced in 2017, but whose release has been postponed indefinitely.

Note that Metroid Dread will be released on the same day as the new OLED Switch. And that, along with Mario Party Superstars and Pokémon Sparkling Diamond / Pokémon Sparkling Pearl, this will be Nintendo’s last big release this year.
