The meeting between Paris Saint-Germain and Olympique Lyonnais, on Sunday, September 19, witnessed an incident, which was the anger of Argentine Lionel Messi and his refusal to shake hands with his team coach after the latter replaced him.
The cameras showed Messi in a state of anger after being substituted, as the best player in the world did not shake hands with his compatriot coach Marusio Pochettino, who extended his hand and returned to him empty.
The lenses focused on Messi’s face, who seemed very angry even after sitting on the bench, amid the astonishment of his colleagues who tried to talk to him to calm him.
In the 76th minute, the Paris Saint-Germain coach replaced Messi with Moroccan Achraf Hakimi.
The capital club achieved a late victory by two goals to one thanks to the goal of Argentine striker Mauro Icardi in the 93rd minute.
