Inside, the capacity will be increased, which may reach 75%, and outside they will be able to raise them to 100%, with the limitation that there will be a maximum of 10 diners per table. Finally, the prohibition of dancing in discotheques or consuming in the bar of any type of premises, and the requirement that a distance of 1.5 meters be achieved between customers is maintained.
Madrid will end on September 20 with the hourly limits in hospitality and nightlife
From ‘Saturday Deluxe’ to closing: this is how the Ayuso coronavirus center was dismantled in three months
“The current measures are relaxed due to the good epidemiological and healthcare situation and the continuous growth in the number of vaccinated,” explained the Minister of Health, Enrique Ruiz-Escudero. “The cases decrease from week to week steadily. Added to this is the drop in accumulated incidence ”, he added. And he concluded: “The healthcare reflex is that there are already less than 900 patients in our hospitals.”
On video, statements by Ruiz-Escudero this Wednesday.
The Community of Madrid has a cumulative incidence of 113 infections per 100,000 inhabitants in the last 14 days, Escudero said, and in the last two weeks the number of new cases has decreased by 56%. With these data, the specialists who advise the Government of Isabel Díaz Ayuso have concluded that the return of the people of Madrid after the holidays, with the consequent increase in the concentration of people, has not negatively affected the evolution of the pandemic.
“Fear of a rebound? We have never stopped being afraid of the coronavirus, it has never given us good news, but now, in the fifth wave, the horizon is different ”, said the Minister of Health, referring to vaccination and the rapid decline in cases . “That invites us to be optimistic that this will continue like this. If these opening measures continue like this, the decision on new measures will come sooner rather than later “, he argued, to underline:” (…) There is still enough time for the pandemic to disappear. “
In total, almost 900,000 people have been infected with the disease in the community, according to the latest daily report of the regional Executive, and there are currently 657 admitted to the hospital, of which 254 are fighting for their lives in intensive care units.
