Levski has found a new goal scorer

Maritsa’s goal scorer – Marian Tonev, has come under the scrutiny of Levski coach Stanimir Stoilov, Tema Sport writes. The striker has made excellent matches since the beginning of the season in the Second League.

Before that, Tonev was the top scorer of Chernomorets Burgas. He is 22 years old and is a teenager in Beroe. According to the management of the Plovdiv club, the striker has a contract for another two years. The president of the club is Hristo Hristov, who some time ago announced that he would run for head of the Bulgarian Football Union, but after the latest court decisions and quarrels between Bobi Mihailov and the contender Berbatov did not appear in the media.

Maritsa has enough options in attack and during the winter break he can afford to negotiate with Levski for the rights of Marian Tonev. Simeon Veshev from Strumska Slava and the former national and goal scorer of Levski Valeri Domovchiiski are the other options in front of the coach of the second division team from Karshiyaka Nikolay Dimitrov.

Levski does not have many options at the top of the attack, Bilal Bari has not yet scored in an official match for the team in 23 matches. Martin Petkov and Marin Petkov are still not impressive enough to win a starting shirt. Given the extremely limited budget for the selection of “Gerena” will not be able to afford expensive additions.

The idea with Marian Tonev is to pay a minimum transfer amount to Maritsa with an option for the Karshiyaka club to receive a good percentage in a subsequent sale. The Blues will continue to closely monitor the performances of the targeted player, as well as will study his habits off the field. The coach of Levski wants to know everything about the character of the players before he decides to buy.
