The Portuguese coach, Carlos Queiroz, the coach of the Egyptian national team, settled on the formation that will start the match against Sudan, in the framework of the third and final round of the group stage of the African Nations Cup.
The formation is scheduled to witness a change in the defensive side through the participation of Mohamed Abdel Moneim at the expense of Mahmoud Hamdi “Al Wensh”, who was injured in the last Guinea-Bissau match.
The second change will be to push Ahmed Sayed “Zizou” to play a key role for the first time, after he participated as a substitute in the matches of Nigeria and Guinea Bissau, to participate at the expense of Abdullah Al-Saeed.
The composition of the Egyptian national team is expected to be as follows:
Goalkeeper: Mohamed El-Shennawy.
Defense lines: Ayman Ashraf – Ahmed Hegazy – Mohamed Abdel Moneim – Omar Kamal.
Midfield: Amr Al-Sulayya – Mohamed Elneny – Ahmed Sayed “Zizou”.
Forwards: Omar Marmoush – Mohamed Salah – Mostafa Mohamed.
It is worth noting that the standings of Group D are as follows: Nigeria (6 points), Egypt (3 points), Guinea Bissau (point) and Sudan (point).
