For its second edition, the Prevention Day for motorized two-wheelers brings together road safety players. The prefecture of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region, the departmental road safety coordinations, the Paul Ricard Circuit in Le Castellet and the partners are mobilizing around a regional awareness and prevention action in favor of two-wheeled users. motorized vehicles, representing a third of road fatalities each year. This event will take place in the presence of Marie GAUTIER-MELLERAY, interministerial delegate for road safety, on Saturday September 11, 2021, at the Circuit du Castellet. Educational workshops (demonstration of the triggering of an airbag vest, handling workshop) and information (blood alcohol level, key figures for road safety) will be set up in order to present the prevention systems. As part of a “curves and trajectories” workshop supervised by the police, nearly 180 motorcycles, coming from the 6 departments of the region, will join the Circuit Paul Ricard.

• 11:30 am: Visit of the educational workshops
• 1:00 p.m .: Parade on the Bol d’or route

Entry to the site is subject to a health pass (vaccination certificate, negative test of less than 72 hours – antigen test or RT-PCR, positive result attesting to recovery from Covid-19, at least 11 days and less than 6 months).
