Rock group Kris Barra’s Band has released the first single and music video “Dead Horses”, taken from their fourth album, which will be released early next year.
The frontman tells about the song: “It is about the moment when you realize that a relationship has ended.” The piece was co-written with Johnny Andrews (Three Days Grace, Halestorm, Buckcherry, Fozzy). Barras continues: “It’s the first song I’ve written together with anyone and it was a fantastic experience to work with a guy like Johnny, even though it was done via Zoom during the shutdown.”
The video was recorded at home in Devon and the expanses of Dartmoor’s moors. “We managed to get hold of an incredibly cool Chevy Camaro 69,” says Kris. “I actually had to pull in as a cameraman for a few shots, including when I hung out of the car’s tailgate when it flew over the moor, to get to some of the scenes.”
