After the rumors about her health, reality TV star Kourtney Kardashian has now announced: Her unborn baby was indeed in great danger.

Kourtney Kardashian (44) has now revealed on Instagramwhy she was in the hospital. An “urgent prenatal operation” on the baby was necessary to save her unborn child. Her husband and father of the baby, Travis Barker (47), interrupted his band Blink-182’s tour a few days ago because of an “urgent family matter” and rushed home.

“I will forever be grateful to my amazing doctors for saving our baby’s life,” Kardashian wrote in the Instagram post, along with a photo of the couple holding hands. “I am eternally grateful to my husband, who rushed to my side off the tour to accompany me to the hospital and take care of me afterwards, my rock. And thanks to my mother for being so supportive in this matter held your hand.”

Kardashian added that as someone who has had three very easy pregnancies in the past, she was unprepared for the fear of having “urgent prenatal surgery.” “I have a whole new understanding and respect for the mothers who struggled to care for their babies during pregnancy.” It was “the greatest blessing” to “leave the hospital with my little boy in my stomach and safe”.

Travis Barker also spoke up. The drummer wrote on X (formerly Twitter): “I flew home for emergency life threatening surgery on our baby and I’m so thankful it went well. I want to say thank you for the support. The tour resumes on Friday.”

Kardashian and Barker have officially been a couple since early 2021. In May 2022, they tied the knot. In June, Kardashian announced that she is expecting her fourth overall and her first with Barker. Her older three children Mason, Penelope and Reign – born between 2009 and 2014 – come from the relationship with her ex-boyfriend Scott Disick (40). Barker has two children, Landon, 19, and Alabama, 17, with ex-wife Shanna Moakler, 48, who also brought daughter Atiana De La Hoya, 24, into the marriage.
