Kanye West and Julia Fox boldly summoned a doomed power couple and officially made their red carpet debuts as part of matching denim ensembles.
Weeks after going public with their romance, the duo arrived at Paris Men’s Fashion Week in style on Sunday, putting their own stamp on the Canadian tuxedo.
West and Fox ticked off a major relationship milestone in high-fashion getups that likely drew more than a few cringe emojis in the Kardashian family’s group chat, and continued their pitch-wide press offensive at Kenzo Fall/Winter 2022 fashion /2023 on show.
The ‘Donda’ rapper – who legally changed his name to ‘Ye’ last fall – recently opted for a baggy denim jacket and matching trousers from his favorite fashion house Balenciaga, which he paired with all-black sunglasses, gloves and a t-shirt. Shirt fitted Red Wing boots.

But all eyes were on the ‘Uncut Gems’ star, who has made it a habit take fashionable risks. Fox paired a cropped Schiaparelli denim jacket with tapered chest detailing and baggy, low-waisted pants that she borrowed from the company’s creative director, Daniel Roseberry.
“I took the pants off his body and he was very kind to let me wear them,” she said said WWD at the show.
Fox completed the look with dramatic winged eyeliner and gold brass earrings resembling heart-shaped buttocks.

While the double-denim outfits were a clear reference to the matching ensembles Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake famously wore to the 2001 American Music Awards, Fox may have pointed to another pop music superstar as well.
The jacket details are reminiscent of Jean Paul Gaultier’s iconic cone bra bodysuit worn by Madonna during her 1990 Blond Ambition tour. Fox and Madonna recently spent time together amid rumors she’s ready for the role of the singer’s best friend Debi Mazar in the upcoming biopic about her life.

The newly formed couple have embarked on a whirlwind romance since dating on New Year’s Eve following the rapper’s split from Kim Kardashian West.
Earlier this month, Fox confirmed their relationship in a candid essay for Interview magazine, in which she wrote of their “instant connection” and how West courted her with an “entire hotel suite full of clothes.”
“Everything about us was so organic,” she wrote. “I don’t know where the journey is going, but if that’s any indication of the future then I love the ride.”
Of course, given West’s high-profile previous relationship, the union has raised many questions. But Fox recently brushed aside criticism thrown in her way during an episode of her Forbidden Fruits podcast, insisting she doesn’t let West’s fame sway her.
“People say, ‘Oh, you’re in it for the fame, you’re in it for the clout, you’re in it for the money.’ Honey, I’ve dated billionaires my entire adult life, let’s be honest,” she said.
“It’s funny because I get all this attention, but I really didn’t care,” she continued. “Watch my film, read my book. That’s more exciting for me now than eyes on me. I do not care at all.”
