It’s going abroad! Compact Ramlingen also wins at SVG Göttingen

The eight-day mandatory Corona break did not throw SV Ramlingen / Ehlershausen off course. The top division team reported impressively with a sovereign 3-0 (1-0) away win at SVG Göttingen.

It was also the third time that RSE goalkeeper Blazej Gajda remained without conceding a goal – after the 0-0 at Lupo Martini Wolfsburg and the 3-0 at FC Eintracht Northeim. “The team did it tactically, they were compact, worked hard against the ball and moved forward well,” stated coach Philipp Gasde, who lifted his striker Louis Engelbrecht out of the strong team.

It was also the RSE striker who scored 1-0 from the point in the 16th minute after a foul on Steffen von Pleß. Further chances arose in the superior first half for the RSE by Bangin Bakir and von Pless. On the other hand, Ramlingen’s goalkeeper prevented a goal by the, according to Gasde, “opponent who mostly operated with long balls” with good saves.

The RSE also dominated the second round, Engelbrecht made the preliminary decision in the 69th minute after a precise pass from Timo Gieseking. Substitute Marc-Christian Künneke finished with a great solo run to make it 3-0 (84th).
