The Tips app provides an exclusive preview of the latest new features in iOS 15.
In anticipation of next week’s new Keynote, Apple has started notifying iPhone users about upcoming iOS 15 features through a notification through the Tips app.
“See what’s coming in iOS 15,” the notification read. By clicking on the notification, users get a brief overview of upcoming iOS 15 features. These include details about voice isolation in FaceTime, the new Shared with you section in apps, Safari tab groups , live text in photos, system-wide translation, Focus mode, notification summaries and augmented reality walking directions in Maps. After viewing all the briefs, the preview of iOS 15 is featured in the Collections section of the Tips app, above a similar preview that Apple released before the release of iOS 14.
Apple is expected to launch iOS 15 for the general public this month, and the new iPhone 13s will likely ship with a pre-installed version of the operating system. Historically, Apple has always released new versions of iOS about a week after its September event, but iOS 14 was released a day after the “Time Flies” event of September 15, 2020.
This year, the fall event “California Streaming”Will take place on September 14, which means that if iOS 14 was an indicator of the company’s new release schedule, iOS 15 could be released as early as Wednesday, September 15.
