After a morning of exchanges and after having recovered all their equipment and their jerseys, the rugby players from Chartres had lunch together before starting the first training session of the preparation. In total, the session lasted an hour, under a blazing sun.

The Chartrains have already had the right to basic training, with running, and some oppositions without veneering have been organized: “There is a lot of excitement around his reunion. This year, 25% of the workforce was modified, which is little compared to last year, when more than 50% of the team had been changed”, specified the coach of the CCR, Renaud Gourdon.
A training camp and two friendly matches
The group will leave for a few days on an internship in Normandy, near Criel-sur-Mer (Seine-Maritime), during the second week of August. “It will be a ‘rugby-cohesion’ course”, launches the Chartres coach. “The group will already know each other well. We will therefore take advantage of this to focus preparation on the ground, with still a little cohesion to integrate the newcomers.”
Two preparation matches are scheduled, against two National 2 teams: Marcq-en-Barœul, August 12 in Amiens, and August 19, against Niort, also away.
