In the temporarily occupied Energodar, Zaporozhye region, an explosion occurred at a meeting of the leaders of the occupation “police”. About it reported The Main Intelligence Directorate published a video from a drone that attacked one of the city’s buildings by flying in through a window.

According to the GUR, on August 18, a meeting of the leaders of the occupying security forces was scheduled in Energodar. In the morning, approximately at 09:23, a powerful explosion was heard in the office of the head of the “police”, as a result of which the head of the city department, Colonel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia Pavel Chesanov (Chuvash Republic), his deputy for operational work, head of the investigation department, head of the duty unit and leaders a number of divisions.

Immediately after the explosion, they were rushed to a local hospital, according to the GUR.

The intelligence also reported that after an operational examination of the wounded from the temporarily occupied Melitopol, three ambulances were urgently called. Already from there, the wounded are planned to be evacuated by military helicopters to the Russian Federation.

“The building, in addition to accommodating the police department, was used as a room for the personnel of the invaders. As a result of the explosion, the house received significant damage, the fire spread to the 3rd-5th floors,” the GUR said.

Currently, according to intelligence information, the area of ​​the incident is blocked. The ability to move around the city for civilians is significantly limited, the Internet is completely disabled.
