In conversation with ‘brussen’ of a care-intensive child – watch the short video

What’s it like growing up with a with a care-intensive brother or sister? In the short video ‘Brussen’, brothers and sisters tell what it means to them, how people around them and (care) professionals can support them and how they see their role as ‘brus’ in the future. The video was made as part of the research project Vulnerability and strength in families with a care-intensive child from the University of Humanistic Studies.

Research

The research project Vulnerability and strength in families with a care-intensive child of the Care Ethics chair group follows nine families with a care-intensive child. The central question is: how do you achieve a good balance in complex everyday family lives through cooperation based on care, professionalism and friendship?
