In Caen, an eco-feminist fiction to imagine the future of neighborhoods by 2030

The Vent d’Ouest association is continuing its project entitled “The world is changing and us?” Let’s design our neighborhood in 2030 ”. With the Caen association to them, the objective is to explore the place of women by 2030 in Caen neighborhoods. Registration for writing workshops is open.

The Vent d’Ouest association is continuing its project entitled “The world is changing and us?” Let’s design our neighborhood in 2030 ”and appealed to the Caen association to them. The objective of this is to explore the place of women in 2030 in a specific territory, in Caen (Calvados), in the Caponière, Saint-Ouen, Haie-Vigné, Venoix districts, from a writing workshop.

The story produced will be edited by associating the future map of the district with the panels drawn by the architects of the Akpé association. Finally, “We will create the map of the future through the prism of ecological transition and women’s equality”, explains Anais Blanc-Gonnet, pilot of the action.

To do this, Caen à Elles is in partnership with the writing shop C’est quoi ce bazar. Two workshops are planned and led by Maële Giard, doctoral student in geography, land use planning and town planning at the University Lumière-Lyon-2 and Marin Schaffner, ethnologist by training, author, translator and editor.

A global restitution of the Vent d’Ouest project is scheduled for December 5, 2021, with the cultural structures involved.
