Hundreds of people from the Turkish community in Krefeld are looking for Abdullah Kilic (81), who has been suffering from dementia. He has been missing since Sunday, urgently needs medication and whose life is in acute danger from cold and dehydration. As Tufan Ünal, chairman of the Turkish Union in Krefeld, reports, so far hundreds have been involved in searches, which were temporarily even extended to Hückelhoven – without success. On Wednesday afternoon, many people met again at Café del Sol on Berliner Strasse to look for the man. By late afternoon, around 5 p.m., an estimated hundred volunteers had gathered there. In the end, according to Tufan Ünal, there were about 250 people. He also said that another 100 people were looking in the direction of St. Tönis and Willich and other people throughout the Lower Rhine.
