Hublot is releasing brand new Big Bang DJ Snake with a cool color effect

Hublot has already started collaborations with artists such as Richard Orlinski, Takashi Murakami and the London tattoo artist Sang Bleu for limited edition watches. Now comes the new special edition with DJ Snake. According to Hublot, the most streamed French artist in the world landed world-famous hits with songs like “Let Me Love You” with Justin Bieber and “Selfish Love” with Selena Gomez. Hublot and DJ Snake have been working together since 2018 when he hosted the closing evening for Hublot during the FIFA World Cup in Russia. In Paris, Hublot and DJ Snake celebrated the launch of the exclusive Hublot Big Bang DJ Snake. After the unveiling of the model, which is limited to 100 pieces, DJ Snake created the right atmosphere with his hits among guests such as Adriana Lima, Iris Mittenaere and Didi Stone.

This is what the limited-edition Big Bang DJ Snake looks like

The 45 mm big bang is made of titanium with a shimmering, polished and satined surface. Depending on the incidence of light, it creates a color-changing effect and shimmers in a thousand colored light reflections. The bezel and six titanium components of the 45mm case are adorned with an effect that Hublot calls “Newton’s Rings”. The result is a spectacular shimmer in which the colors change depending on the incidence of light and the perspective of the observer. According to Hublot, it is difficult to get the same color gradation on each of the 100 watches produced, which makes each of them slightly different and therefore unique.

The openwork dial in the shape of a globe is a trademark of DJ Snake. A reference to his travels around the world for his concerts. The skeletonized dial reveals the inner workings of the in-house movement HUB1242. This offers a power reserve of 72 hours and a water resistance of 100 meters. The transparent case back allows a second look at the automatic mechanism. The outer case is engraved, which indicates the special edition with DJ Snake.
