At last year’s PlayStation events, Sony made it clear that the PlayStation 5 I would have an amazing first year. Sadly, different delays they have been breaking down this illusion. Fortunately, it seems that all is not lost and that the premiere of Horizon Forbidden West if it will be this year.
In his interview with GQ, Jim Ryan, head of PlayStation, spoke about his plans for 2021. There he mentioned that Horizon Forbidden West, Aloy’s new adventure will come this year.

“We feel very good with Returnal, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart Y Horizon Forbidden West. And, you know, there are 2 approaches to this: you can keep the date and launch the game no matter its quality or you can launch it when it’s ready. We always take the second approach, ”Ryan mentioned when discussing his plans for 2021.
Taking into account that Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart will arrive in june, everything points to what Horizon Forbidden West It will arrive in the second half of the year. In fact, we wouldn’t be surprised if it was PlayStation’s major end-of-year launch.
Don’t expect that God of War I arrived in 2021
Now you’re probably thinking, what about the sequel to God of War? After all, at one of last year’s PlayStation events was announced as a 2021 title.
However, we think it’s important that you don’t get any illusions that Kratos and Atreus’ next adventure will debut this year. The thing is, Jim Ryan never mentioned it in the interview along with other 2021 releases.
Another point to keep in mind is that Jason Schreier, a renowned video game journalist, made a comment making it clear that it is innocent to think that the new God of War is coming this year to PlayStation 5.
