The Japanese automotive company Honda has published images and information about the European modification of the CR-V crossover.
The manufacturer’s press release says that the sixth-generation model will be available with an e-HEV hybrid and, for the first time, with a PHEV plug-in hybrid system, in this case being able to do a little more than 80 kilometers in electric mode only.
The new CR-V is longer, wider and lower than the fifth-generation model, adding 40 millimeters to the wheelbase and 18 percent more luggage space. For rear passengers, it gave one and a half centimeters more legroom, and the back of the rear sofa now has eight levels of tilt adjustment.
It is known that the advanced Sensing 360 complex of electronic assistants will help the driver, which completely eliminates the so-called blind zone. In addition, there is heating and ventilation of the front seats, a panoramic roof and a premium audio system.
Along with the new generation CR-V, two more interesting novelties have been announced for the European market: the B-segment crossover e:Ny1, which will be able to travel up to 412 kilometers with a fully charged battery, as well as the completely new ZR-V, which will try to appeal to a younger segment of buyers.
