This video was age restricted by YouTube and our appeal was denied. Why? It’s an artistic interpretation of found footage, mostly news clips of real people and events. None of this content is age restricted anywhere else on YouTube, but somehow it’s offensive when condensed into three minutes.
The news cycle moves so fast and we’re so overstimulated that we forget or become numb to the horrible shit that’s happening, so it can be jarring when seen all at once. That’s kind of the point of the video, so shout out to the YouTube trust and safety team for proving it.
Anyway, people are radicalized by content that is literally recommended to them by YouTube and somehow this is what they flag?
