September 27 marks the 50th anniversary of the famous American actress Gwyneth Paltrow, winner of the Oscar and Golden Globe awards.

She was born in Los Angeles in the family of film director Bruce Paltrow, heir to the Paltrovich rabbinic family from the city of Novogrudok, and actress Blythe Danner.

Over the thirty years of her film career, Gwyneth has played in more than 50 films, including such films as “Scream”, “Captain Hook”, “Seven”, “Emma”, “Perfect Murder”, “Shakespeare in Love”, “Proof”, ” The Tenenbaum Family”, “Iron Man”, “Mordecai”, “Spider-Man: Homecoming”, “The Avengers”.

In 2014, Gwyneth Paltrow, always proud of her Jewish father, converted to Judaism.

She has two children. She is currently married to producer Brad Falchuk, who also grew up in a Jewish family (this is the second marriage for both).
