Sony will release Gran Turismo 7 racing game on March 4 for PlayStation 4 and 5. Developer Polyphony Digital provides more details about the game, including details about the GT Campaign and the return of familiar tracks.
With GT7, Sony’s racing game gets another extensive campaign. It was not in predecessor GT Sport, that game was aimed at multiplayer races. In a trailer, Sony shows an impression of the campaign and the extensive photo mode is also discussed. The developer mentions that Scapes and players can photograph their cars in 2,500 locations in 43 countries.
The GT Sport Livery Editor is also coming to GT7, according to the makers there is a lot of demand for it. Old circuits from the series are also coming to the new part: Trial Mountain and High-Speed Ring, the developer says.
Polyphony Digital Highlighted that GT7 is a game in which a lot of attention is paid to collecting cars, even more than previous parts in the series. Players can also upgrade and tune their cars again. The studio also promises realistic weather effects, day and night.
Gran Turismo 7 will be released on March 4 for the PlayStation 4 and 5. Sony has only shown images of the PS5 version, which uses ray tracing, among other things. The game was announced in June 2020 and should have been released this year, but was postponed in February.
