According to a report by ‘The Hollywood Reporter’, The contract signed by both companies will have a duration of 3 years and although collaborative projects were not announced, the two companies will be in the development of the productions that are already planned by Maximum Effort.
Some of the films of the aforementioned production company are ‘Free Guy’, which according to Reynolds himself is his favorite feature film and tells about a banker who discovers that he lives inside a game, so everything will change in his life from that moment. While the next production is ‘The Adam Project’ that will be available only for Netflix.
The source points out that ‘Free Guy’ and ‘The Adam Project’ could be in the catalog of Paramount +, a streaming platform that was recently released worldwide, as a new option to also compete against Disney + and Netflix.
It is also explained that although Ryan Reynolds’ production house signs a contract with Paramount, the actor has the freedom to work with other studios, for example ‘The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard’ y ‘Red Notice’, along with the long-awaited ‘Deadpool 3’, which already has its scriptwriters, but does not yet have a start date for recordings or premiere.
