For years there has been an argument about the further construction of the B31 in the region. An important decision has now been made. Steffen Bilger, Parliamentary State Secretary in the Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure, was a guest at today’s meeting of the Association Assembly of the Regional Association of the Southern Upper Rhine in Denzlingen. With regard to the further construction of the B31 West, he announced that the federal government approved the planning variant 7 proposed by the Freiburg Regional Council as a preferred road. According to the Freiburg Regional Council, this is the so-called high-voltage road west with a southern variant. It can thus be used as a basis for further planning.
