Zamalek player Razak Cissé participated in Saturday’s training after joining the team and held a session with coach Patrice Carteron, who was keen to check on the Ivorian striker.
Cissé underwent a medical examination under the supervision of Mohamed Osama, the team’s doctor, before performing rehabilitative exercises in the gym.
Zamalek players trained to shoot from outside the penalty area, as well as deal with crosses.
Carteron supervised this training and was keen to remedy errors.
The players underwent physical training and, with the technical, medical and administrative staff, underwent a medical examination in preparation for traveling to Kenya.
The young quintet, Mr. Attia, Mohamed Hossam, Syed Neymar, Saif Jaafar and Hussam Abdel Majid, got a break from training after participating with the club team born in 2001 against Al-Masry in the Republic Championship.
Zamalek will visit the Kenyan Tusker on October 16, in the first leg of the 32nd round of the African Champions League.
A week later, it hosts the return.
