Pyramids announced its contract with Abdullah Magdy from Egypt to clear the summer transfer market.
Magdy signed a contract linking him to Pyramids for the next 5 seasons.
Magdy becomes the second Pyramids deal after the inclusion of Tunisian Seif El-Din Bin Youssef, the former Ismaili player.
Magdy, 24, is good at playing in the center of the wing, and he participated with the clearinghouse in 26 games last season, during which he scored a goal and made another.
Magdy scored his only goal in his Egyptian league career so far, against Pyramids last April.
Magdy expressed his happiness at joining Pyramids, explaining that “he preferred to move to him despite receiving more than one offer, in light of the club’s professionalism, ambitious plans and a desire for the team to compete for all championships.”
He indicated, “His desire to win championships with Pyramids and reserve a key place in the Egyptian national team in the coming years.”
Pyramids will meet Smouha in the eighth final of the Egypt Cup, and will face the winner of Al-Ahly and Enppi.
