The white list witnessed the emergence of many youngsters, among whom were familiar faces to the masses, and among them were those who appeared for the first time, so that we can get to know them.

Syed Abdullah “Neymar”

Jinnah, born in 1999. He started with Zamalek since 2009 and won the Al-Baraem Championship in 2010 under the leadership of Mahmoud Yassin and won the award for the best player in the tournament.

He won the Giza championships with Zamalek, under the leadership of: Mahmoud Yassin – Alaa Abdel Zaher – Walid Maher – Ahmed Moaz – Rifai Mohamed – Mohamed Hassan.

He joined the junior national team in the 2016-17 season, participated in several friendly matches with them and scored goals in Gabon, Libya and Tunisia, and trained under the leadership of Amir Abdel Aziz, Tariq El-Sayed, Rafai Mohamed and Mohamed Mostafa Mems in the junior sector.

He was promoted to the first team during the period of Serbian Micho’s leadership of the team, and with Zamalek he won the Republic Championship the previous season, and he was the top scorer of the tournament, and then joined the first team under the leadership of Carteron until now.

He signed a professional contract for 4 seasons with the team.

Hossam Abdel Meguid

A defender, born in 2001. He started football from the Citadel Youth Center between 2005 and 2008, followed by Rifai Mohamed, the former Zamalek player, and Hamada Raafat tested him and chose him to join the team since 2009.

He was promoted to the first team for the first time with Ihab Galal, and it was Ahmed Saleh who nominated him to the technical director who saw him and was promoted with the team for a period afterwards with Micho.

He was with the first team in the first state of French coach Patrice Carteron and trained with him for a while. He entered the list of the Tanta match in the league and attended the team’s training even before the activity stopped due to Corona.

He won the 99 championship last season, and with the 2001 team he won the republic championship.

Locally, his idol is Mahmoud Al Wensh, and internationally, Sergio Ramos and Virgil van Dyck, and dreams of professionalism in Europe.

He was with the national team mainly during the period of Rabie Yassin, the coach, where he was present in friendly and official meetings and tournaments in which the youth team participates, and participated in the North African Championship in Tunisia in all meetings mainly, and in the Arab Cup.

He previously trained under the leadership of: Hamada Raafat – Sami Al-Shishini – Amir Abdel Aziz – Ahmed Abdel-Maqsoud – Ahmed Abdel-Raouf – Mohamed Fawzy – Ahmed Moaz.

Saif Farouk Jaafar

A playmaker and attacking winger, born in 1999. He joined Baraem Zamalek at the age of 7 under the leadership of the youth sector coach, Mohamed Hassan.

His first appearance in the junior teams came with technical director Gamal Mohamed Ali, as well as a continuous presence in the Egyptian teams of different ages, and won the Bud and Junior Championships with Zamalek, the last of which was the 99 championship last season.

In more than one season, he won the title of top scorer for his team, and he was promoted years ago to the first team, specifically under the leadership of Tariq Yahya in 2017, when he was technical director at the time for the first team.

He participated last season against El Gouna and Talaa El-Geish, and he had previously been out on loan for 6 months to Smouha in 2019.

Mohamed Tariq

Defender, born in 2000. He can play as a central defender and right-back.

His first escalation with the first team came at the hands of French coach Patrice Carteron, who included him in training in preparation for his promotion in the League Cup.

Indeed, Tariq played two matches in the League Cup at the right-back position, in front of Ceramica Cleopatra and Tala’a El-Jaish.

Hatem Mohammed “Sukar”

Left backer, born in 2001. He obtained a 3-year professional contract to maintain his services.

The player appeared with the first team in 2020 in friendly matches.

He participated with Zamalek in front of Wadi Degla and in front of Tanta in the July 2020 friendlies.

Mohamed Hossam El Din “Biso”

A midfielder, born in 2001, who was promoted for the first time under Micho, before facing the South African Olympic team in a friendly.

He played with Zamalek in a friendly match against Wadi Degla in 2020.

He appeared with Zamalek in the Egyptian League, where he played against Egypt Club (Zed currently) at the end of the 2019-2020 season.

He also participated in the League Cup, in the Zamalek match against Ghazl El Mahalla.

Youssef Osama Nabih

A winger and striker, born in 2000, the son of Osama Nabih, the general coach of Zamalek and his former star.

He trained with the Al-Amal team and was escalated to the first team training several times, the last of which was before facing Aswan in the Egypt Cup semi-final (postponed from last season).

He appeared in the League Cup with Zamalek in the Farco match.

Ahmed Rifai (First Appearance)

For the first time, the central defender, born in 2003, is in the first team.

Rifai plays regularly with the 2003 team, and is one of the team’s most important pillars.

He is one of 7 players in his team who have been awarded professional contracts for 4 years. (see details)

Mohamed Khedry (First Appearance)

The midfielder, born in 2002, is also on the Zamalek list for the first time.

Khodari was recently awarded a 3-year professional contract.
