Facebook launches smart Ray-bans, they capture photos and videos

Voice commands or a small button activate the functions

New York, Sep 9 (askanews) – Facebook and Ray-Ban today launch a pair of smart sunglasses on the market that can take pictures and shoot videos thanks to voice commands and a small button on the frame.

The glasses, which look like a standard pair of Ray-Bans, also allow you to both play music and answer phone calls. The battery life to enable the functions is approximately two hours.

As well as being available in different styles and colors, they can fit with tinted sunglass or prescription lenses and even progressive lenses. Photos and videos recorded by the two cameras on the mount can be shared on a special smartphone app.
