More than 24 hours after being held, the march of members of the Turkish community, to the sound of “Allah Akbar”, which took place in the heart of Dijon Thursday evening does not cease to react.
Friday, the mayor of the city of the dukes, François Rebsamen, considered this rally, organized a few hours after the Nice attack, “intolerable”. Before demanding that a ” judicial investigation be carried out to identify, arrest and condemn the Turkish nationalist radicals who demonstrated yesterday (Thursday, editor’s note) evening in Dijon ”.
A request which has apparently been heard since the prosecutor of the Republic of the judicial court of Dijon, Eric Mathais, responded to him this Saturday morning indicating that an investigation was currently being carried out by the police under his direction.
Investigations which relate to three counts: “participation in a violent group”, “violence in meeting on depositary persons”, and “organization of a demonstration without declaration”.
Already on Friday, Fabien Sudry, prefect of Côte-d’Or, warned: “It is not excluded that arrests take place, with the help of the intelligence services”.
