Unmissable event in the associative life of Dijon, the Grand Déj ‘brings you together for a 2021 edition reinvented in a new setting and a revisited and diversified program, on Sunday September 12 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Parc de la Toison d’Or.
Co-organized by the League of Education 21 and the Regional Federation of MJC Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, with the support of the city of Dijon and Dijon metropolis, the Grand Déj ‘has not ceased since its creation in 2001 , to enhance the civic, social and cultural role of local associative structures. After a blank year in 2020 due to the health crisis, the organizers wanted to mark the return of the event and give it a new dynamic. For the first time, the event which was traditionally held at Lake Kir, will take place at the Toison d’Or Park, this green natural space of 10 hectares which lends itself easily to it: simplified access by tram, easy parking, facilities existing, controls facilitated within the framework of the health context…. If the Grand Déj ‘remains the festival of associations, the programming has been redesigned in collaboration with associative actors and leaves more room for cultural partners, demonstrations, debates …
More than 200 local associations will present their activities around a variety of events: sports workshops, concerts, theater and exhibitions, punctuated by the percussions of a Brazilian batucada. An even more festive and attractive day of meetings and sharing to celebrate together the 120 years of the 1901 law establishing freedom of association.
A highlight of local life attracting more than 8,000 visitors, the associative fabric is exhibited, for a day, with enthusiasm in its diversity and vitality.
