The Fourth District Court for Administrative Matters in Mexico City, by order of the Nineteenth Court for Administrative Matters in Mexico City, filed the appeal.
The complaint took place after an injunction filed by the Mexican Association of Pediatric Oncohematology (AMOHP).
In their request for protection, the complaining party, whose pediatric oncologists and hematologists provide services in public hospitals, indicated that there is a shortage of drugs for childhood cancer treatment in Mexico, which is why they are unable to provide adequate and sufficient medical care. children and adolescents with cancer.
“From the comprehensive reading of the amparo claim, it is concluded that the complainant claims, essentially, the omission of the responsible authorities in supplying essential drugs and supplies for cancer treatment of children and adolescents with cancer to the public hospitals sectorized to the Secretariat of Health dependent on the Federal Executive Power ”, reads the suspension incident related to the amparo lawsuit 579/2020, against acts of the Secretary of Health and other authorities.
