Everything happened this evening, around 7 pm, during a First Communion ceremony in Santa Maria degli Ammalati, a hamlet of Acireale. At one point a violent argument broke out between two families. The non-commissioned officer, who was nearby, went into action even before the arrival of the carabinieri whose intervention had been requested. But in the agitated phases the gunshot was fired.
