Blauw-Zwart picked up the 22-year-old Japanese a year ago in his own country at Albirex Niigata. It then took a while before Homma found his feet, but as the season progressed he showed more and more beautiful things at Club Nxt in the Challenger Pro League. For this he was rewarded in the final matches of the Play-Offs with his first playing minutes with the big boys of Club. And that was a great success.

Homma played a significant role in the title denouement. In the decisive match on the field of Union SG, he turned the game completely as a substitute with a goal and assist, depriving the team from Brussels of the title.
