Jakarta, Selular.ID – Tom Henderson, a leaker leaked the title Call of Duty 2022, and the name fits perfectly with previous leaks about the next Infinity Ward game. The latest leak claims that the name of the game is already known, unfortunately the name of this game will confuse fans, including gamers who are new to the Modern Warfare series. Next year’s Call of Duty will be called Modern Warfare II.
Recently, Henderson has shared a lot of information about the future of Call of Duty. As for next year’s game, it will be a direct follow-up to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2019, something many expected to happen.
Previously, it was leaked that COD Modern Warfare II or which will be released next year presents a sequel to the Modern Warfare (2019) reboot. At the end of the game, a number of mysteries were indeed presented which were responded very positively by fans of this game franchise.
In the ending, Captain Price prepares to gather their elite team consisting of Kylie “Gaz” Garrick, John “Soap” MacTavish, and Simon “Ghost” Riley including their enemy, Al-Asad.
This indicates that Activison has fallen in love with the popularity of the series even though it presents a storyline which is a prequel to the original version with the same title in 2007 namely Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.
Henderson also leaked information claiming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II will present a war against the cartels so it is possible that the second series is also a reboot version because it has a different story.
The second series as mentioned above is quite confusing in the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare universe. In the original version, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2009), the figure of Gaz is gone because he was killed in a battle with Russian ultranationalist troops led by Imran Zakhaev.
Given how successful the Modern Warfare reboot for Infinity Ward has been, it’s no surprise that the developers plan to keep refining.
As previously known, loyal fans of the Call of Duty game will be able to feel the tension of World War II in Call of Duty: Vanguard which is scheduled to be released on November 5.
In addition to the new and integrated Warzone experience that will be coming this year, players will also be spoiled with tons of Call of Duty content. This game will bring story mode, Online Multiplayer, and Zombies co-op for all Call of Duty fans.
Players are invited to discover the origins of the Special Forces who are trying to change history and establish Task Force One in a World War II story mode set in Eastern and Western battlegrounds in Europe, the Pacific and North Africa.
The video reveal trailer shows that Call of Duty: Vanguard will present the entire historical battle arena from World War II, from the Western Front to the Eastern Front including North Africa and the Pacific. Just like before, gamers will be presented with action like Hollywood action films.
On the official website, Activision as developer explains that Call of Duty: Vanguard will be released on November 5 for PS4 and PS5, Xbox One Series and Xbox Series X/S, and PC. This game was produced by the Sledgehammer Games studio, which has worked on the Modern Warfare series and the last one is Black Ops: Cold War.
Multiplayer mode will feature 20 maps on the first day of launch. Not only that, Zombies fans can also enjoy the thrill of fighting the undead that characterizes this mode. This marks the first Zombies crossover in the Call of Duty franchise.
Call of Duty: Vanguard itself is now available for preorder. The game series handled by Sledgehammer Games is scheduled to be released on PlayStation5, PlayStation4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Battle.net starting November 5, 2021.
While in single player or story mode there will be four protagonist characters, Private Lucas Riggs from the Australian infantry troops, Sergeant Arthur Kingsley from the British paratroopers, Lieutenant Wade Jackson from America, and Lieutenant Polina Petrova from the Soviets.
