Specific information about the burning of a car after a traffic collision from the People’s Police: Previously, on December 26, the Investigation Police Department of Lac Duong District Police received a report at lot 3, section 3, sub-district. Area 111A, Lat commune (Lac Duong) had a 4-seater car completely burned down, only the chassis remained, and the license plate had been removed. Lac Duong District Police coordinated with the People’s Procuracy at the same level and the Criminal Technology Department, Lam Dong Provincial Police to conduct a scene examination to serve the investigation.
Through verification, the authorities determined that the burned car was a 4-seat car, Mercedes-Benz brand, bearing registration number 60A-818.22, had been bought and resold many times but had not yet completed the procedures to change ownership.
Continuing to expand the investigation, the police discovered that at 4:50 p.m. on December 23, this car had a traffic collision with a motorbike, injuring one person in Ward 7, Da Lat City. . After the accident, the driver of the car drove into lot 3, section 3, sub-area 111A, Lat commune and burned the car to destroy the evidence.
The Lac Duong District Police Investigation Agency determined that the suspect who caused the accident and burned the car himself was Mr. HKV (born 1973, currently residing in Lat commune, Lac Duong district).
Initially, Mr. V admitted that after causing the accident, Mr. V did not stop to treat the injured person but ran back home to Lat commune. Afraid of being discovered by the authorities, Mr. V drove into the forest and set his car on fire to destroy the evidence.
