The Apple Watch Series 7: between design change and problems

In his new shared note, Ming-Chi Kuo acknowledges that Apple encountered manufacturing issues during production of the new Apple Watch. With a “dramatic design change” akin to flat sides and square edges, as well as an increase in screen size, the Series 7 is likely to make a big splash.

Kuo says the early production issues were mostly caused by the new screen assembly approach. To be more specific, Apple has faced issues with screen flickering and touchscreen sensitivity.

Fortunately for Apple and its suppliers, everything has since returned to normal, with mass production imminent.
