A new portion of the Green Plan will be inaugurated this Saturday, September 11 at 11 a.m. between Chartres and Lèves. A meadow has been fully developed in place of the old wastewater treatment plant. The vegetation has been renewed between the Lèves mill and the SNCF bridge. A bank was built along the river and 80 trees and 125 shrubs were planted. Tables, benches and even bins have been installed to make it a place dedicated to relaxation and rest. A limestone pedestrian and cycle path now runs along the bank between the rue de la Paix and the outskirts of the Eure. And a 32-space car park has even been created for easier access to the site.
