An angry protest in front of the Swedish embassy in Amman – video

Dozens of Jordanians protested, Monday, in the vicinity of the Swedish embassy in the capital, Amman, to condemn the burning of the Holy Quran by a Swedish extremist.

The Swedish-Danish extremist, Ramsos Paludan, burned a copy of the Holy Qur’an in front of the Turkish embassy in Stockholm, amid great police protection in the city.

Jordan condemns the burning of the Koran

Jordan condemned the burning of a copy of the Noble Qur’an in the Swedish capital, Stockholm, stressing its rejection of this act that fuels hatred and violence and threatens peaceful coexistence.

The Ministry of Endowments, Islamic Affairs and Holy Sites said that this act is a crime and an insult to the religious feeling of every Muslim on the face of the earth, and an attack on their holy book, and this heinous crime is likely to fuel feelings of anger and hatred among the peoples of the world.

The Grand Mufti of Jordan, Abd al-Karim al-Khasawneh, said, for his part, that burning the Holy Qur’an is an insult to all Muslims and the Islamic faith, and a challenge to the whole world.
