According to Mr. Chung, his son was attacked by a group of 10 male students in the 10th grade at An Nhon High School No. 3.

“According to some classmates who witnessed the incident, just after class ended, my child was going down the stairs to the 2nd floor when he was stopped by a group of about 10 male students. One student grabbed his neck. Then, the whole group rushed in and beat me in the head, the back of the head, the bridge of the nose, and the eyes, causing my child to be covered in blood and fall unconscious before the group left.” Mr. Chung said.

Relatives said that about 5 days ago, T was also beaten and his mouth bled but he hid it and did not dare to tell his teachers, school and family.

“T also told his family that he didn’t want to go to school anymore. The whole family thought he was under no pressure, so they advised and encouraged him to continue studying because he got a certificate of merit every year. Who would have thought that my child would get promoted. The school is constantly threatened and attacked like that. My family hopes that the authorities need to step in and seriously handle the case,” Mr. Chung was upset.

At the hospital bed, T with a weak voice said that due to severe injuries to her eyes and nose bridge, she could only breathe through her mouth.

“Before that, I had a conflict with a classmate named BAP in the 10th grade of the school. Because BAP often teased me at home named “Nam” and said I had a disease, I was very upset and texted back: “Now What do you want?”, and then I was stopped and beaten,” T recounted.

The police are verifying and investigating

According to a leader of Binh Dinh Provincial General Hospital, after receiving care and treatment, this morning, NTT was awake. According to initial reports, the child suffered an injury to his face that caused swelling and nosebleeds.

As a result of the x-ray, the patient has a broken nasal bone and is being monitored and treated by doctors to stabilize his spirit and swelling.

For injuries to the bridge of the nose, the hospital will switch to surgery to repair the nasal bone and nose area.

According to Mr. Nguyen Son Dong – Principal of An Nhon High School No. 3, as soon as the incident happened, the school leaders along with the homeroom teacher were present and took NTT to the Nhon Tho Commune Medical Station for first aid. .

On the night of December 20, the school worked with the parties, called the students’ parents as well as reported the incident to the leaders of the Provincial Department of Education and Training. The school also worked with the commune police force and local authorities to handle the case.

“We invited 6 parents of 6 students to directly participate in beating NTT to discuss solutions to overcome the problem, asking parents to coordinate with the authorities and visit and help the family. This afternoon, we sent a working group to the hospital to visit and encourage T,” Mr. Dong said.

According to Mr. Dong, the local police invited the students involved in beating T to work. The cause of the incident stemmed from a conflict between T and BAP, a student of class 10A5. The two sides texted back and forth, provoking and challenging each other, so the above heartbreaking incident occurred.

Mr. Dao Duc Tuan – Director of the Department of Education and Training of Binh Dinh province said that the unit has grasped the incident.

Currently, An Nhon Town Police and Nhon Tho Commune Police are also participating in verification, investigation and handling.
