What have you missed the most because of Covid? What activity did you resume immediately after the vaccine? And what would you absolutely never want to give up again in the future? If you are a boy or a girl from Ferrara, between 12 and 19 years old, and you have had the vaccine, tell your peers about it in a short video. And the Usl company will use it on its TikTok and Instagram pages. After Christian, Carlotta, Cesare and Ludovica, the four young people already protagonists of videos launched on social media, the Ausl is now asking for help from all young Ferrarese who have been vaccinated, to convince their peers that, however, they do not yet have it done. Because who better than them speaks “the same language”, especially on ‘their’ social networks? So who better than them can convince an unvaccinated friend? The kids who want to become protagonists of the campaign ‘Let’s get vaccinated so as not to have to give up…?’ they can shoot a short video with their mobile phone in which, in fact, they explain why they got vaccinated, and what they no longer have to give up because they did it.

But not only. The initiative is open to any type of multimedia contribution: a video telling the reasons why you have chosen to immunize yourself against the coronavirus, a souvenir photo taken directly at the vaccination center to capture the moment, a photograph or a drawing that make explicit the same message about the return to social life thanks to vaccination.

Contributions can be sent to the email [email protected], together with a declaration signed by the parents authorizing the use of the video by the Ausl (available in attachment and on the website www.ausl.fe.it) and always to a telephone number of the parents, through which the Ausl will further verify the authorization. Videos deemed suitable (at the company’s discretion) will be posted on corporate social networks, mainly Instagram and TikTok. Channels that will also be used to promote the initiative itself. “There is a week left for the reopening of the schools – explains the director general of the Ausl Monica Calamai – and we do not intend to leave any stone unturned to involve children in the vaccination campaign. This idea is based on the fact that communication between peers is one of the best ways to inform children and young people “. The actions of the Ausl to encourage vaccination do not stop here however: “We have opened direct access to the hubs, involving family doctors, and from here soon even pharmacies will be able to vaccinate – recalls Calamai -. And we as Ausl ‘we move’ by going to the territory on occasions for aggregation “.
