A senior sports health course will be organized in Peumerit. The goal? Keep in shape and fight against a sedentary lifestyle. An information meeting on the benefits of regular physical activity will be organized by the French Federation of Physical Education and Voluntary Gymnastics (FFEPGV), Monday March 27 at 2 p.m. in the multipurpose room.
After the age of 65, the aging of the major functions of the human body accelerates. The aim of the senior health sport course is to allow it to slow down by soliciting balance, memory and cardio-respiratory function. The meeting will present the proposed actions.
Three rounds
Three 12-hour cycles, supervised by qualified sports instructors, will improve balance, stimulate memory and activate cardio-respiratory function. Tests are carried out at the beginning and at the end of each cycle allowing practitioners to measure their progress.
