The clips, captured by an officer’s camera at the Sterling Heights Police Department in the US state of Michigan, show dramatic moments of the rescue operation of a child who was about to drown in a swimming pool during a family party. When the officer arrived, the father had pulled his two-year-old son from the bottom of the pool and started CPR, only to see the child’s blue face struggling to breathe. The officer picked up the little boy and slapped his back several times to help clear the airway, after which the child resumed breathing normally.
