a meeting of 500 people and the support of 6 mayors of the 5th district of the Rhône for Bastien Joint

This Tuesday evening, Bastien Joint held a public meeting at the Caluire-et-Cuire village hall.

The Republican candidate in the 5th district of the Rhône, opposed in particular to the outgoing deputy Blandine Brocard (MoDem), recorded one of the highest attendances of this legislative election in the department, counting 500 people who came to listen to him.

The young elected caluirard had gathered around him six mayors of the district. His mentor Philippe Cochet obviously, who had given up his initial nomination to pass the torch to Bastien Joint. But also Marie-Hélène Mathieu (Saint-Didier-au-mont-d’Or), Max Vincent (Limonest), Corinne Cardona (Poleymieux), Jacques Pariost (Chasselay) and Gilbert Suchet (Montanay), his deputy.

“With Bastien Joint, we will be able to count on what we have lacked over the past 5 years: more proximity, real local contact to face realities and meet our challenges, a sincere and benevolent commitment to serving our territory as it has been demonstrating this for many years now.reacted Marie-Hélène Mathieu.

“It is rare that I take sides in an electoral campaign, because I am and have always been without a political label when running for municipal elections, but I bend this rule. The local elected representative for the inhabitants, after the mayor, is the deputy, who must carry out concrete actions for our municipalities and our Region. Also, it is in this spirit that I support the candidacy of Bastien Joint”auctioned Corinne Cardona.
