CELLE. The 9 cities in Lower Saxony are starting the new tourism year with overnight stays for 99 euros. Braunschweig, Celle, Göttingen, Goslar, Hameln, Hanover, Hildesheim, Wolfenbüttel and the Autostadt in Wolfsburg offer a relaxed combination of urban flair, contemplative old towns, culture but also nature in and outside the cities.
“In difficult times you should move even closer together,” explains Klaus Lohmann, Managing Director of Celle Tourismus und Marketing GmbH, the campaign. “In the network of 9 cities, we want to apply to each other, because every city is something special. An ideal Christmas present! ”Says Lohmann.
Different offers for 99 euros can be booked on the joint website www.9staedte.de. Many hotels support the campaign. As a guest with friends in Lower Saxony: The 9 cities offer residents and guests a nice gift idea for Christmas.
The cities of Lower Saxony promise relaxed city experiences: the sights can be easily reached individually over short distances. The world’s largest contiguous half-timbered ensemble in Celle, UNESCO World Heritage Sites such as the old town in Goslar, the cathedral and Michaeliskirche in Hildesheim or the medieval squares in Braunschweig and the Herrenhausen Gardens in Hanover. In Hameln there is a multitude of offers for everything to do with the legendary pied piper. In the Lessing city of Wolfenbüttel, the residential palace and over 600 half-timbered houses are enchanting. History but also student flair characterize the cityscape of the traditional university town of Göttingen. In the Autostadt in Wolfsburg, mobility can be experienced in many different ways.
