Endrick Felipe Moreira is just 15 years old and yet there has already been an incredible amount of hype surrounding the young footballer. No wonder: with six goals in seven games, the 1.73 meter short striker almost single-handedly led the Palmeiras U20s to the title in the so-called “Copinha”.
The tournament, which has been held annually in Sao Paulo since 1969, is one of the most important youth competitions in Brazil and has often been the starting point for great careers in the past. In 2008 Neymar’s star rose at the “Copinha”, in 2017 Vinicius Junior stepped into the limelight for the first time. Rivaldo also made a breakthrough there.
Now Endrick has been voted the best player of the tournament – even though his teammates and opponents were around five years older than him on average. His overhead kick from the edge of the penalty area in the semi-final against Oeste was also recognized as the best goal.
Of course, such cabinet pieces and his outstanding performances in general arouse desires. Although Endrick is only allowed to move to Europe at the age of 18 (i.e. 2024), the hunt for the Storm Jewel is already on. In addition to the usual suspects Real Madrid and Barcelona, Chelsea, Liverpool, ManUnited and ManCity are said to have expressed an interest in “Next Neymar”. Your goal: Sign a preliminary contract with the super talent.
In the end, Real Madrid could have a small but decisive advantage: Endrick works with the same agency that also looks after Vinicius Junior. Nevertheless, the royals would have to dig deep into their pockets: there is already talk of a transfer fee of around 40 million euros.
Endrick has already landed a big sponsorship deal. Sporting goods giant Nike has snapped up the talented left foot and signed him – like Neymar once did – at a young age.

In terms of football, Endrick first wants to develop further at Palmeiras and there soon – it is only allowed at the age of 16 – to sign his first professional contract. The youngster currently feels most comfortable as a centre-forward. Due to his speed and his excellent technique, Endrick can also be used on the left wing. Overall, despite his young age, he already has an enormously strong overall package that could be the cornerstone of a great career.
The ambition also seems to be right. His personal goal: “He wants to be like Cristiano Ronaldo,” revealed his father in a recent interview. “Like his great role model, he is willing to work hard to get better every day.” Just like CR7, new challenges only drive him even more.

The big question now is how Endrick will deal with the rising expectations and the hype around him. The super talent is still only 15. Palmeiras coach Abel Ferreira also pointed this out after winning the title at the “Copinha”: “The best thing the club could do now is to buy him a ticket for Disneyland. He’s still a kid and still has a lot to learn.” (before)
