Still tested at the 1st Bundesliga home game
At the first home game in a week and a half against Hertha BSC however, a good third of the fans will only submit a negative test. A corresponding health concept has been approved by the city of Cologne, said the managing director of the association, Alexander Wehrle. For the time being, this concept even applies up to a possible incidence of 100. On Friday, the value indicating the number of corona infections in the Cologne area was 42.4.
Of the 16,500 fans, 15,500 vaccinated or recovered tickets will be given. They must show proof of this at the entrance. There are also 1,000 fans who can submit a fresh negative test. Wehrle points out, however, that no additional test capacities will be set up at the stadium itself.
